Stelrad is Britain’s number one radiator brand.

Part of the Ideal Stelrad Group, Stelrad offers the widest range of steel panel radiator styles and sizes in the UK and also has a comprehensive selection of decorative products and towel warmers, not forgetting our market leading low surface temperature radiators.

Stelrad began making steel column radiators back in 1936. We now operate our UK business from an advanced production and distribution facility on a 17 acre site in Mexborough, South Yorkshire.

We have sister companies in Belgium, Holland, Romania, Turkey and the UK.

Innovation

Our Group Research and Development facility is located in Belgium and has state of the art laboratories and test equipment, alongside the latest CAD/CAM design technology. We are continually improving the performance of our products to maximise energy efficiency and to ensure our radiators work as effectively with renewable energy sources as with more conventional heat sources, such as condensing boilers.

Quality

Stelrad Compact and Stelrad Elite were the first radiator ranges in the UK market to have a ten year guarantee.

All Stelrad products conform to EN442, the European Standard for radiators, and are manufactured in ISO 9000 certified facilities.

Our highly automated, high speed manufacturing lines feature pressure testing to 10.5 bar to assure weld integrity and a thorough leak testing regime, followed by a four stage inspection process.

Every radiator undergoes a two stage painting process to give an exceptionally hard-wearing finish.

Customer service

We believe that Stelrad’s £4.2M National Distribution Centre is the UK's most capable radiator logistics operation. We hold over 200,000 products in stock in this 150,000 sq. ft. facility and we work around the clock with state-of-the-art RF barcode scanners and specialised reach trucks to give market leading levels of delivery performance, with a capacity to pick up to 12,000 radiators a day. This ensures you can easily obtain our products from our network of over 1000 merchant branches.
