It’s become apparent that Prince Charles is a radiator man, following a brief conversation at the Ideal Homes Exhibition at Earls Court recently.
Stelrad Radiators had donated examples of their highly energy efficient vertical radiator range and the new K3 radiators – 3 panels and 3 fins – for inclusion in a renewable home featured at the show, and during his visit, Prince Charles was introduced to Stelrad Radiators Product Manager, Chris Harvey.
After a brief enquiry of Chris as to his role and the company he worked for, he was heard to say that he felt far more comfortable with ‘radiators than with underfloor heating systems’ – to which Chris was heard to murmur under his breath ‘my thoughts exactly.’
“His Royal Highness is renowned for being outspoken about things he likes and dislikes, sometimes with words such as ‘carbuncle’ attaching to those reports, but it’s clear to me that he is an eminently sensible man who knows his heating systems pretty well!” says Chris Harvey.
