Stelrad Radiators are being used across the UK and Ireland in a variety of commercial premises as well as in homes up and down the country. One of the recent uses of Stelrad radiators – in fact of 87 Compact with Style designer radiators – is at the new HQ of Welsh language TV channel S4C in Carmarthen in South Wales.
S4C is a Welsh-language free-to-air television channel. It is the first television channel to be aimed specifically at a Welsh-speaking audience, and S4C is the fourth-oldest television channel in the United Kingdom after BBC One, ITV and BBC Two. The TV station moved into its new headquarters on the campus of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s creative and digital centre, in Yr Egin in Carmarthen around a year ago. The station also has regional offices in Caernarfon and Cardiff.
The radiators were supplied by Pipe Centre in Swansea and were installed by Narbeth Mechanical Services from Bridgend.
Glen Narbeth from Narbeth Mechanical Services said: “We work with Stelrad on many projects and they are one of our preferred suppliers for radiators.
“Part of the attraction of working with Stelrad is the companies top to bottom approach with customer service, technical knowledge, technical support, local representation and quality of product all being of paramount importance. The compact with style radiators chosen for this project were readily available, easy to install and added to the aesthetics of the project for S4C.”
“This is another excellent example of the use of our radiators in prestigious commercial premises,” says Head of Marketing at Stelrad, Chris Harvey. “Radiators can provide excellent heating solutions even in sizeable buildings like this one. This project benefitted from the multiplicity of sizes and shapes we can supply for a project, from lowline radiators that fit alongside windows in the offices to traditional sized and shaped radiators in kitchens, rest rooms and meeting rooms. The attractive lined facias on Compact with Style radiators adds a little additional pizazz and blends in perfectly with the modern style décor selected by the TV station.”
