Chrome Radiator FAQs
Is a Brushed Chrome Radiator Better Than Polished Chrome Radiators?
This will purely come down to aesthetic preference, with neither providing more benefits than the other. You’ll get excellent heat coverage and energy efficiency from either brushed or polished chrome finishes. Polished chrome radiators will reflect the light more in the room due to their mirrored design and have a smooth surface, whereas brushed chrome radiators will have a slightly matte and more subtle elegance.
Are There Options Other Than Chrome Central Heating Radiators?
Most of the chrome designer radiators you’ll find here at Stelrad will come with standard piping connections so that you can connect easily to your existing central heating. Adapters and valves are available as well as other parts and accessories if you require them. If you are unsure of how to fit your choice of chrome central heating radiators, we are available to help.
What’s the Difference Between Vertical and Chrome Flat Panel Radiators?
The main difference is with its orientation on the wall, however, there are chrome vertical radiators that incorporate flat panels instead of tubular too. You’ll see from our range of chrome designer radiators the different types available and which you choose will depend on the space you have available. For a compact room, you’ll want to consider a small chrome radiator that fits vertically rather than a standard horizontal design that may be better for larger rooms.
