In a year that has seen Stelrad shortlisted for a number of business awards it has been shortlisted again – this time as a finalist in the Plumbing & Heating Supplier of the Year category of the Builders Merchants Journal Awards.
BMJ is one of three main merchant publications in the UK and it’s an awards scheme that has seen Stelrad shortlisted on a number of previous occasions. Chris Harvey is Head of Marketing at Stelrad and says recognition in these trade awards is an important way of measuring the company’s success across a range of issues: “It’s always nice to be recognised as being as good as or better than other companies in the heating sector at these annual awards. In particular it’s good to record success in those award schemes where the awards are voted for by the readers of the journal that runs the awards and not just a chosen panel of judges who may or may not have had first-hand experience of our company or its products.
“We’re hopeful that our excellent customer service record over the past couple of years, along with incredible delivery stats for delivering our products on time anywhere in the UK will go some way towards us winning this award – we’ll see!”
All this year’s winners will be announced at a gala lunch event in London on Friday November 26th.
