500 x 1200 RADIATOR FAQs
What is a designer radiator?
Radiators that fall under the term designer radiators are often modern or contemporary radiators, and they will add style and class to your home. If you want your radiator to fit in with your home interior and be a focal point in a room, a designer radiator will be the best option for you. Our designer radiators at Stelrad are available in a range of different styles, colours and sizes including 500 x 1200 designer radiators, so you won’t be stuck for choice.
Are 500 x 1200 designer radiators simple to clean?
Like all the radiators we stock at Stelrad, 500 x 1200 designer radiators are simple to clean, whether you go for a column radiator or a flat panel radiator, keeping it refreshed shouldn’t be a problem. Make sure you dust your radiator before cleaning it with warm soapy water and follow our cleaning guide if you are new to cleaning radiators and need some help.
Do 500 x 1200 column radiators cause a danger hazard?
If you are set on a 500 x 1200 column radiator down to the aesthetic and style, you aren’t alone, many go for radiators with columns for a more traditional retro feel in their home. The only problem you will have with these radiators is they can often be a danger hazard if you have small children running around your home, particularly the cast-iron column radiators. Our old fashioned radiators don’t have a cover like the flat front panel radiators do. If you don’t have children, this probably will not be a problem for you and will be the perfect option for your home.
Are double radiator 500 x 1200 sizes easy to install?
You shouldn’t have a problem with the set-up of your 500 x 1200 designer radiator as all the instructions and equipment you need will come included with the radiator. If you do start facing some trouble, connecting your new radiator to your central heating system, or installing it onto the wall, don’t hesitate to give us a call at Stelrad. For those who find following video instructions helpful, we have a Stelrad YouTube channel with a specific installation video to guide you through the set up.
