Horizontal Line Radiators FAQs

Are Stelrad Horizontal Line Radiators Available in Different Colours?

This range is available in Traffic White only, so if you were looking for something more vibrant or fitting for your home décor, we have plenty of other options to choose from. Our range of colour radiators has every different shade and paint option you could want, whilst our Designer Radiators provide even more stunning options for something different.

I’m Not Sure if I Need a K2 or K1 Horizontal Line Radiator, Can You Help?

Yes, deciding between the two different types of Stelrad horizontal line radiators comes down to the room you need it for. The size, shape, and features of a room will influence heating performance, something our heat loss calculator can help show. Larger rooms will need more powerful performance than those of a smaller size, such as when looking for Cloakroom Radiators. As the visual diagram will show, a K1 radiator has one panel at the front and one set of convection fins. Compared to a K2, which has two panels (front and back) and two sets of convection fins in between. Quite simply, a double panel design will provide double the heat of a single panel radiator, with the convection fins responsible for heating the surrounding air.

Can I Install Stelrad Horizontal Line Radiators Myself?

Yes, each purchase comes complete with simple to follow installation instructions. If you feel confident to fit yourself, you can follow our guide which you’ll find on our YouTube channel. The packaging will come complete with the components needed for installation, including brackets if required. All you have to do is ensure you have chosen the right size for the piping connections already in your room. If you are unsure about sizing, use our radiator size tool before ordering.
