Silver Radiator FAQs
How to Clean a Silver Radiator?
Before cleaning any radiator, make sure you have turned off the central heating. Then remove any dust from the radiator with a soft cloth.
A silver radiator will usually be made of chrome or steel. To clean these materials, use a solution of mild soapy water; a mixture of 50/50 water and vinegar; or a store-bought material specific cleaner. Do not use an abrasive cleaner.
Wipe over the radiator using a microfibre cloth and your chosen solution. You can use a toothbrush for any areas which are tricky to reach. Dry and buff the silver radiator fully with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
