Low Level Radiators
Not all homes can accommodate a standard wall mounted radiator. That’s why, at Stelrad, we are pleased to have floor standing radiators and low level radiators which can both be the ideal radiator solution for unique layouts or simply for your individual design demands.

A low level radiator is just what you need to sit neatly below low conservatory windows, under counter spaces in the kitchen, or for anywhere that a long low radiator works better with your room’s layout.
If your home already features standard radiators – the familiar white convector radiators – then the low radiators in our Compact With Style Lo Line Range will be a perfect match. At just 200mm high, this white radiator will fit neatly into those hard to heat spaces. For your convenience, this radiator is pre-fitted with welded floor standing radiator feet. Please note that these feet add approximately 150mm to the height of this small radiator.
For more modern décor where designer radiators are seen as interior features, our contemporary range of Concord Lo Line Radiators is just what you need. These low profile radiators are specifically designed to meet space-saving demands while still offering a modern, stylish low level radiator with a highly efficient heat output. Available in 16 sizes and nearly 40 colours, this low level radiator has undeniable wow factor.

Floor Standing Radiators
Another space-saving and design statement making option when it comes to radiators is the Floor Standing Radiator. There are a few reasons why you may choose a floor standing radiator. Like a low profile radiator, they can work well in awkward areas where it is difficult to make use of wall space. The Concord Lo Line Radiator, discussed above, can be accessorised with feet to make it both a floor mounted radiator and a low radiator – now that’s a space-saving radiator indeed!
Another reason to choose a floor standing radiator is to make an interior design statement. Popular in period properties, our column radiators are particularly suited to being floor mounted radiators. Like roll top baths, they like to show off their design closer to centre stage. Our ranges of column radiators come with optional floor mounting brackets so you can create this grand design statement with ease.
If you have tiled walls, a floor standing radiator can avoid the risk of cracking tiles when drilling wall brackets for wall mounted radiators. This may be most relevant in a kitchen or utility room.
Also, if a radiator is too heavy to hang on a wall, or your wall is not structurally sound enough, a floor mounted radiator would be an ideal solution here too.

Please note that our towel rail radiators and most of our vertical radiators are not suitable as floor standing radiators.
