Stelrad…barking up the right tree!

Stelrad Radiators’ in-house Community Forum is working with local charities in South Yorkshire to help out where they can.

The latest support from the company has seen BARC – the Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity – benefit from Stelrad employees generosity as they donated dog and cat food for the Centre to help keep running costs down: “It’s a small way of saying we care,” says Stelrad’s Health, Safety and Environment Manager, Neil Land. “We appreciate the costs associated with running these centres and know that any help we can provide is welcomed and makes a difference.”

“We rescue hundreds of abandoned animals every year and we’re are grateful for any support we can get to help keep the animals at the centre safe and well fed,” says BARC’s Kerry Flood. “We rely totally on donations from the public and Stelrad’s involvement is a welcome one. We hope it might encourage other companies locally to do a similar thing – it means a lot to us.”

BARC is at Wath Boarding Kennels and Cattery, Station Rd/Dearne Rd, Wath Upon Dearne,
Rotherham. You can call them on 07534 982314 or 01709 876832 or contact them by email at [email protected]. If you are wanting to adopt a rabbit you should email Angela on [email protected].
