You will get installation instructions and equipment included in your order. Find the best radiators to keep your home toasty all year round.

600 x 800 RADIATOR DOUBLE PANEL OPTIONS

If you are going for a 600 x 800 radiator double panels included, it can still provide a minimalist design. The size is compact and will fit into smaller or medium size rooms in your home, ideally children’s bedrooms, hallways, or home offices. If you want a radiator with double panels, you will need to go for a K2 radiator or a P+ radiator, both of these options have 2 panels and 1-2 fins. 600 x 800 radiator double panel options are perfect for those who want to put efficiency and energy saving first, rather than aesthetic. However, at Stelrad we do have some colourful statement radiators available in this specific size.

COLOURFUL STELRAD 600 x 800 RADIATORS

For families, couples or individuals looking to invest in bright radiators that will stand out, our 600 x 800 radiators can be found in flat front panel radiator styles in warm colours. Choosing radiators in reds, oranges or yellows can help create a cosy home ready for the winter months, just make sure the colour you pick blends in with your furniture and decor. Some would prefer white radiators for a simple, clean finish. It comes down to preference completely when you are deciding on a colour for your radiator. Bear in mind, some of the lighter coloured radiators and white radiators will need to be cleaned more often as dirt shows up immediately and the same will happen with any scratches or marks.

COMPACT HORIZONTAL 600 x 800 RADIATORS

Horizontal column radiators are usually more popular than vertical radiators, but it will depend on the layout of your house when deciding on the best radiator orientation to go for. Our 600 x 800 radiators double panel options are always horizontal as their length is longer than their height. Horizontal radiators can fit under windows, behind radiators, in hallways or anywhere you want them to. Make sure you measure your wall before ordering, especially if you want it to fit in an exact spot, such as under a window that is a specific size.

FAQs

600 x 800 RADIATOR FAQs

Are 600 x 800 easy to install on the wall?

Open Close

Yes, this radiator size isn’t too heavy, making it simple to lift once you have installed the brackets onto your wall. All our radiators come with installation kits and instructions you can follow step-by-step. If you are still struggling to fit your radiator, you can give us a call at Stelrad or watch installation videos that can be found on our YouTube channel.

Are 600 x 800 radiators double panelled options better than single radiators?

Open Close

Yes, it’s a fact that double panel radiators produce more heat as they have a bigger surface area meaning they also heat up faster. If you have larger rooms in your home, you will probably be better off with Stelrad 600 x 800 radiator double option. Our type 22 radiators have 2 panels and 2 fins, meaning they are powerful and efficient, more so than single radiators.

What should I do if a radiator starts leaking?

Open Close

A leaking radiator can be stressful, and we don’t want anyone to have to deal with this. If your radiator starts leaking, it will probably be down to a faulty gland nut connection in the valve. Most people will notice this has happened as they will see water on the floor. Remove the rubber cover from the valve, remove the gland nut with a spanner, use PTFE tape to repack under the nut and this would help. You can use about 1-2 inches of tape and then put everything back in place. Add more tape if it’s still leaking.

How can I ensure my 600 x 800 radiator won’t suffer from corrosion?

Open Close

You will want to avoid corrosion at all costs and keep your 600 x 800 radiator free from any rust that will completely ruin its exterior. To make sure your radiator doesn’t encounter corrosion, you will need to follow all our advice and keep it clean.
