As a commitment to its investors and the communities in which it operates, Bregal have adopted a responsible investing policy.

Responsible investing is recognising that environmental, social and corporate governance (“ESG”) issues affect the performance of companies.

Under the responsible investing policy businesses commit to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles, covering human rights, labour, environment and anti – corruption.

Each company within Bregal’s portfolio has developed an ESG related policy serving the company’s specific needs.

Bregal encourages each of its companies to strive for long–term continuous improvement, aiming beyond compliance, with a vision to reach industry best practice.

In relation to Bregal’s ESG policy, Stelrad recognises its responsibility to continuously improve and manage our relations with the people and environments affected by our business operation. We have set out a Corporate Social Responsibility policy, as summarised below, which defines our commitments to all our investors and the communities in which we operate.

We aim to demonstrate these responsibilities through our actions and within our corporate policies.

We shall strive to improve our environmental performance through the implementation of our Environmental policies and maintaining the ISO14001 standard.

4. Health & Safety

We shall ensure a high level of business performance while minimising and effectively managing risk.

We shall provide, and strive to maintain, a clean, healthy and safe working environment and promote a healthy lifestyle for employees.

5. Community

We shall encourage dialogue with local communities for mutual benefit.

We shall support and encourage our employees to help local community organisations and activities in our area.

6. Complaints

We will register and resolve customer complaints in accordance with our published standards of service.

7. Equal Opportunities

8. Terms & Conditions

We shall adopt socially responsible restructuring policies ensuring the minimum of disruption and retaining a sense of dignity.

11. Ethical trading

Our contracts will clearly set out the agreed terms, conditions and the basis of our relationship. We will operate in a way that safeguards against unfair business practices for mutual benefit.
